| Attendance Area Preference: Preference for acceptance into the school is given to students who live within the school’s attendance area boundaries.
Entrance Requirement for Capitol Hill: To be eligible for Capitol Hill, students must be identified as eligible to receive gifted and talented services by the school district’s NNAT and/or DISCOVER Assessment.
Crossroads Zone: Preference for acceptance is given to students who apply on time, indicate Crossroads as their first choice and live within a one-mile walking radius of Crossroads, which is determined by the school district to be safe for walking due to street traffic.
Expo Zone: Preference for acceptance is given to on-time applicants who indicate Expo as their first choice and live within a one-mile walking radius of Expo, which is determined by the school district to be safe for walking due to street traffic.
J.J. Hill Zone: Preference for acceptance is given to students who apply on time, indicate J.J. Hill as their first choice and live within a half-mile walking radius of J.J. Hill, which is determined by the school district to be safe for walking due to street traffic.
Linwood Zone: Preference for acceptance is given to students who apply on time, indicate Linwood A+ or Monroe as their first choice and live within the attendance area boundaries of Hamline, Marshall, Victoria and Summit; and Summit, Ayd Mill Road and Highway 35E.
Nokomis Zone: Preference for acceptance is given to students who apply on time, indicate Nokomis as their first choice and live within a half-mile walking radius of Nokomis, which is determined by the school district to be safe for walking due to street traffic.
Phalen Lake: Transportation will be available only to students who live east of Highway 35E.
Rondo Zone: Preference for acceptance is given to students who apply on time, indicate Benjamin E. Mays, Capitol Hill or Museum Magnet as their first choice and live within the boundaries of University, Lexington, Selby and Marion/Rice.
