Cleveland School provides a small school atmosphere with big school opportunities.  Cleveland is part of the Achievement Plus initiative, a public-private partnership that raises student achievement by focusing on three major efforts: academics, extended learning, and learning supports for students and families. Beginning in fall 2008, Cleveland will be home to the district's only junior-high-level aerospace program, a continuation of the popular and successful aerospace program at Farnsworth Elementary. For more on this exciting program, see the Farnsworth Aerospace Elementary Web site.

Cleveland has a caring and devoted staff, along with many programs that offer unique support for children and their educational success. Our school’s focus is on meeting children’s individual needs through a variety of unique opportunities.

Programs range from pre-Advanced Placement to academic and social support services. Visual arts, choir, piano keyboard, band, strings, Spanish, and FACS (Family and Consumer Science) choices enhance students' educational experiences. A wide variety of activities provide additional opportunities for Cleveland students, such as Educational Talent Search, “Get Ready” program, Fresh Force, Student Council, Math Team, After School Club, Eagle Bluff Outdoor Education Trip, Multicultural Excellence Program, and several competitive sports teams.

Cleveland encourages parent/guardian involvement through our site council, parent conferences and Parent Network. With our priority to keep families informed we utilize St. Paul Learns, which provides parent/guardian access to grades, attendance, and discipline through an Internet site as well as six report cards and newsletters.
