In the 9th Grade Academy, all students take core courses in English, math, social students and science in scheduled group or "blocks." Advisory (formerly called "homeroom") focuses on helping students develop the tools to have a plan for life after high school, including a "Six-Year Plan" that is required for all students. Johnson Senior High School  9-12   --  Johnson High School is proudly showcasing eight new academies.
