Harambee Community Cultures/Environmental Science School is a year-round magnet school serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade. All Harambee classrooms are team-taught, multiage environments in which we work hard to create a unique, exciting, and effective learning experience for our students.

We strive to provide an education that helps children understand and appreciate their own personal strengths and limitations so they can become confident, self-affirming, and empowered learners. Students are challenged to look outward to the world around them — widening their perspectives through connections with others, their environment, and their communities.

Special Features:

  • A diverse student body

  • A year-round calendar (nine weeks on/three weeks off)

  • “Bridges” program during school break

  • A challenging, standards based curriculum

  • All-day Kindergarten

  • Free bus transportation

  • Onsite before- and after-school care
