Battle Creek Middle School  7-8   --  Battle Creek Middle School (BCMS) teachers all use the Institute for Learning's innovative teaching methods to make their classrooms both academically rigorous and engaging. The average class size of 21 allows for individual attention to student needs.  College-prep, challenge level courses are available in all areas of study including Algebra and Geometry classes.

We are the only Minnesota public school to require both uniforms and single-sex classes in all math, English, science, and social studies classes.

Crosswinds International Baccalaureate  6-10   --  Crosswinds East Metro Arts and Science School is a year-round secondary school serving students from St. Paul and 9 surrounding suburban member districts. It is the only school in the State of Minnesota to offer the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, years 1 (6th grade) – 5 (10th grade), housed in one building.
Open School  K-12   --  Open School's progressive programs are rooted in  the tenets of open and constructivist education and self-directed learning. The district's only K-12 school, Open's academic program is designed for self-motivated and independent learners who want a family-like environment.
Ramsey Junior High School  7-8   --  Ramsey Junior High offers a challenging, comprehensive academic program. The school's Gifted and Talented specialty offers advanced math, science, social studies and English courses and prepares motivated students to enter a high school International Baccalaureate, Quest, Advanced Placement or other accelerated program.
Washington Middle School  7-8   --  Washington Technology Magnet Middle School students use technology as a tool for learning in all subjects. Washington has 300 computers for students to learn in every subject area. The Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM) program offers challenging opportunities for all students and independent research projects for highly motivated students.
