Programs include Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), the Community Kindergarten/School Readiness program, the Working Family Resource Center (WFRC) and Discovery Club. For more information, call:

  • ECFE at (651) 793-5410;

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) provides quality classes and family activities that support parents as their children's first and most important teachers. These classes are held mornings, afternoons and evenings in neighborhoods throughout Saint Paul and transportation can be provided. During an ECFE class, parents and children learn together with emphasis on language, reading and math skills. During parents' time, licensed educators lead parents through discussions intended to increase parenting skills, while children are involved in age appropriate activities with an early childhood teacher. Saint Paul ECFE also provides language specific weekly classes for our non-English speaking population. For more information, visit our web site at www.ecfe.spps.org or call:
